Garden Storage Seat
Any ideas for 8 O / o girls bedroom??
I make my room granddaughters … it is past the ballerina / Bratz / Hannah Montana stages (God thank you). I was thinking to his room in an English-style cottage and garden. Any suggestions along this line? Or you have news of other ideas, I hear them too! A wall BR has two cabinets and a window between them. There is a box mounted under law the window for a window seat. I am also thinking of painting the floor. It is home hardwood floors and I had hoped to restore … but the previous tenant had splashed paint and varnish, then spills! I have tried everything known to man to clean it, but short of hiring a Sander (too $ $) painting, it will be cheaper. I thought pale green and having a bridge slab as a bed??
I have been painting and faux finishing for a stay of 8 years and I do children's rooms. Depending on how experienced you are, we like to paint the bottom half of the white room and let it dry a full day or two, then cover with 2 "painters tape of a fence. Then paint your blue above, you can even use rags or brushes mixing the blues and whites and light grays together to make the blue sky and clouds. Pull tape and you have a white picket fence. You can then add flowers and herbs. (I could send you pictures if you wish)
